North Star Recordings

This is my label (although not legally recognized), this is where all of my projects will be(and once i legally set up the company, where all my copyright will be). I've always been inspired by people who pushed the boundries of art. I remember as a kid when we'd do art classes in elementary school, I'd always want to do my own thing instead of the boring stuff we we're instructed to do, and especially with music, avant-garde stuff has always fascinated me. Artists like Merzbow, Leyland Kirby, Aphex Twin, and Vomir caught my attention and in recent months, inspired me to create my own work. I originally wanted to do noisy stuff, and created my Harsh Noise / HNW project Luther. After the release of the self-titled EP however, I think ambient may be my true passion (more specifically dark ambient/drone). I release under my real name and under Luther, with more projects to come as I venture into other genre's. North Star Recordings forever!

Yes, I release under my real name (somewhat), and this is where my ambient passion projects will be held, mostly dark ambient. I have big dreams for this, and hope to make it one day as an ambient musician. I've been so moved by the greatest works of Aphex Twin, Leyland Kirby (frequently known as The Caretaker), and Bull Of Heaven (mainly their EXTREMELY long discography). My goal is to make moving ambient works that resonate with people. Real music, not labelslop and AI bullshit that people push to comercialize music, I want my music to mean something, not just to promote some shitty product or to get famous, but to make people appreciate what I made, for ME to appreciate what I made. This is also the name I want to be remembered by, I think it's pretty dumb when people know and artist but have no idea what their real name is. Big things coming soon guys, watch out for it.

Luther

My original project, the Harsh Noise / HNW one. I thought this would be my main thing, but to be honest ambient allows me to mroe acurately represent what I want. I won't be discontinuing this project though, I have lot's of unreleased stuff and ideas that haven't made it out of my brain, this just isn't my main focus. Thanks to the very few people supporting this work, I wouldn't have any motivation if it wasn't for you guys. I have no clue what to write here, so I guess this is goodbye!
